Lay Guests
Vimutti Monastery has accommodation for lay guests who wish to live with the resident community for a period of time, deepening their Buddhist practice and reconnecting with peace.
Building Vimutti Monastery
The ATBA Sangha and community have transformed a bare, unloved and weed infested property into a tranquil oasis of natural beauty. There are now meditation halls, secluded huts and many other facilities to support Dhamma practice.
Auckland Buddhist Vihara
The Vihara is a Buddhist centre associated with Vimutti Monastery. There are weekly meditations and Dhamma teachings, a children's class and special Buddhist events. It is located at 29 Harris Road, Mt. Well.
The ATBA Committee
The Auckland Theravada Buddhist Association was founded over 30 years ago. The lay committee assists the monastic Sangha to oversee Vimutti Buddhist Monastery and the Auckland Buddhist Vihara.
