Vimutti.org.nz | Vimutti Photos | Tudong 2012

In April 2012, two monks from Vimutti Monastery spent a month wandering the South Island of New Zealand. Ajahn Chandako and Ajahn Pongchai travelled with no money, no food, no transportation and no fixed plans. This wandering practice is called 'tudong' and is conducive to non-attachment, being at peace with uncertainty and being content with whatever happens.
