The Vimutti Stupa
A stupa is a symbol that represents the awakened nature of the Buddha. Vimutti Monastery is building a stupa to enshrine numerous relics of the Buddha and his arahant disciples.
The Sangha
Vimutti Buddhist Monastery is a residence for ordained monastics in the Thai Forest Tradition.
Visiting Teachers
Many leading Buddhist luminaries have visited and taught at the monastery.
Retreats
Residential meditation retreats and non-residencial one-day workshops are taught at Vimutti Monastery and other facilities in New Zealand.
